O-Si-Yo, Greeting from the Office of the Principal Chief,
Before I start I need to make one point very clear. Our tribal ancestry is Moytoy. We are descended from this line and precede the Cherokee Nation and others as they are known today. We have no desire to enter into debates or other issues concerning the 238 entities that profess to to be Southern Cherokee. That is a issue that they need to resolve themselves. So to that end I have instructed our tribal people to cease involvement with any of the groups professing to be Southern Cherokee. Should you have questions concerning this action, please contact me. Our purpose is to instill Unity among our people of all Native American descent from every tribe and nation. Time for bickering is past, The time for unity is now. Let us put our petty issues aside and become what the creator wanted a united people. This includes Gossip of things that weather true are not, you do not know the details. You were not there. |
